The ODYSSEY 34-PC1500 Battery by EnerSys employs a unique thin-plate-pure-lead (TPPL) technology to provide two essential performance characteristics in one battery: maximum cranking power and true 400 deep cycles to 80 percent depth of discharge.

The ODYSSEY 34-PC1500 Battery by EnerSys employs a unique thin-plate-pure-lead (TPPL) technology to provide two essential performance characteristics in one battery: maximum cranking power and true 400 deep cycles to 80 percent depth of discharge.

The ODYSSEY 34-PC1500 battery is 12 volts and provides 1500 cranking amps for five seconds and 135 reserve minutes, with superior deep cycle and charging capabilities to provide repeatable power for a long service life. It will perform at its five-second cranking power in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 40 degrees Celsius). Terminals are SAE 3/8-inch receptacles.

Other specifications include:
• CCA: 880 (cold start performance S.A.E. J537, June 1982);
• HCA: 1,250;
• MCA: 1.050;
• Dimensions: 10.85 inches (275.6mm) by 6.97 inches (177.5mm) by 7.82 inches (198.6mm), 49.5 pounds (22.4kg);
• 60 inch-pounds torque; and
• 2.5 mW internal resistance.

The ODYSSEY 34-PC1500 battery’s sealed design, which eliminates the need for an acid vent tube, and recycling of internal gas during operation and charging make it safe for mounting inside passenger compartments and in any orientation except inverted. Its rugged construction and endurance of rigorous testing make the ODYSSEY 34-PC1500 exceptionally tolerant of mechanical abuse. It offers a four-year warranty for all applications.

The MSRP of the ODYSSEY 34-PC1500 battery is priced at $297.63.
