Carter Fuel Delivery Products, the premium replacement fuel systems brand of Federal-Mogul Corporation, has introduced a comprehensive problem-solving product development and technician support program to help automotive service professionals solve a wide range of common fuel delivery issues on domestic and import-nameplate models.

The shift from mechanical to electrical fuel pumps and integrated fuel delivery modules in passenger vehicles has led to new diagnostic and installation challenges for automotive service professionals, and fuel delivery problems consistently rank among the leading causes of repair comebacks.

The Carter brand’s new Fuel Tech Solutions program includes a continuing series of innovative, time-saving replacement fuel system components and assemblies that address common fuel delivery problems encountered on millions of late-model applications. Carter also is offering technicians a variety of helpful new training resources, including a fuel delivery diagnostic video, interactive training module and web-based Fuel Tech Solutions service bulletins.

Problem: Premature wear of pump motor assemblies in diesel applications
Solution: Carter electrical diesel lift pump with carbon commutator

Problem: Electrical connector failures in fuel pump modules
Solution: Carter electrical connector repair kits/harnesses

Problem: Time-consuming, costly assembly of replacement hanger assemblies
Solution: Preassembled Carter hanger assemblies

Problem: Excessive corrosion, loose electrical terminals on hanger assemblies
Solution: Corrosion-resistant Carter hanger and hanger/sender assemblies
