New Miller Online Smart Selector Eases Welding Equipment Selection

Miller Electric Mfg. Co.'s new online Smart Selector uses a simple, intuitive graphic interface to ease welding product selection for hobbyist, farm, ranch, automotive or light fabrication customers, basing its recommendations on the customers' requirements.

Miller Electric Mfg. Co.’s new online Smart Selector, http://www.millerwelds.com/select, uses a simple, intuitive graphic interface to ease welding product selection for hobbyist, farm, ranch, automotive or light fabrication customers, basing its recommendations on the customers’ requirements.

“The new Smart Selector approaches the selection process from the user’s perspective, first identifying a customer’s welding needs and then recommending the best product to meet those needs,” said Sue Feldkamp, manager of digital services, Miller Electric Mfg. Co. “It eliminates the need for customers to compare charts and specifications to find the right product.”

The Smart Selector uses patent-pending software and an easy-to-use interface to make customer recommendations for MIG, Stick, TIG, Engine Driven and Plasma Cutting products. For those who are unsure which welding process (MIG, TIG, Stick, Engine Driven) best fits their needs, the Smart Selector explains the benefits, skill level required and common uses of each.
