Millions of vehicle owners will see and hear the Wagner ThermoQuiet brakes technology story through an extensive college football-focused television advertising campaign that begins Friday night on ESPN. The TV campaign continues Federal-Mogul’s Wagner “TQ Fall Blitz” promotion, which includes consumer rebates and other benefits designed to help consumers save money on premium quality brake repairs during the fall car-care season.
The new Wagner television ad, titled “Brakes Without Compromise,” will debut during Friday’s ESPN broadcast of the game between No. 14 TCU and Baylor at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. ThermoQuiet ads will also appear during four Saturday football broadcasts – Utah State at No. 23 Auburn (noon ET on ESPN2); BYU at Ole Miss (4:45 p.m. ET on ESPN); No. 5 Boise State at No. 19 Georgia (8 p.m. ET on ESPN); and Colorado at Hawaii (10:15 p.m. ET, on ESPN2).
In addition to the new Wagner ThermoQuiet ad, Saturday’s Utah State/Auburn contest will include the premiere of the Wagner ThermoQuiet “Defensive Stop” sponsorship, a key game highlight selected by the producers of each broadcast and also mentioned during ESPN’s popular nightly “SportsCenter” program.
“The TQ Fall Blitz has helped drive demand for ThermoQuiet brake pads and shoes at every level of the aftermarket,” said Michael Proud, director of marketing, North America, Federal-Mogul. “Now we’re taking the TQ message to millions of consumers who are responsible for vehicle maintenance.”
