NASTF Launches New E-Newsletter

All newsletter editions and an archive of articles will be maintained on the newsletter website.

The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has launched a new e-newsletter, NASTF eNews, which is available to anyone by simply registering to receive it. The newsletter will be published quarterly and contains a host of information about NASTF, along with articles covering a variety of training and industry topics.

“We’re pleased to announce the latest development from NASTF to help spread the word about the good work NASTF has done and continues to do, and to provide a forum for comments from some of the most recognized individuals and institutions within the automotive service industry,” said Charlie Gorman, NASTF Chairman.

The first edition will go out the third week in August, and contains two key features, which highlight efforts by NASTF to close the automaker service support gap between franchised dealers and independent repair shops. There are also several Secure Data Release Module tools, and a number of other articles on topics ranging from Tech Trends to Flex Fuel training needs.

Future issues will contain articles covering meetings, training, emerging technology and other important developments. All newsletter editions and an archive of articles will be maintained on the newsletter website, www.nastfenews.org.

“The NASTF e-newsletter adds an important communication tool, which will allow us to keep the entire industry better informed about programs, accomplishments and trends,” Gorman continued. “I encourage everyone with an interest in moving our industry forward to take a moment and subscribe. I assure you, it will be time well spent.”

Registration for the newsletter is available on the NASTF website at www.nastf.org.
