Russell Stephens, president, and Erik Brock, product manager, receiving the Innovation Award at the 2013 Hot Rod and Restoration Trade ShowMSD Ignition earned the accolade of Best New Product in the Engine Components Category at the 15th Annual Hot Rod & Restoration Trade Show, which took place this past weekend. MSD was recognized for its Atomic EFI LS System.

"The response to our new Atomic LS has been nothing short of spectacular," said Manny Grijalva, VP of marketing and sales at MSD. "Adding this award on top of the other awards we have received is assurance that we have done everything right again. We are humbled to receive this recognition from such a respected organization as the Hot Rod and Restoration folks. It supports our view that this segment of the market is seeking the best equipment to make their LS engine swap clean, easy and aesthetically pleasing."

The Atomic LS platform incorporates the electronics into the fuel rails and has no bulky ECU or wiring harness to mount, which means no mess of wires to route around the engine, according to MSD. This "wired-less" design mounts simply and cleanly on the engine, greatly improving the overall aesthetics of the vehicle, the company says.

The Atomic EFI LS Kit is available for LS2/LS3 engines (PN 2950) and LS7 engines (PN 2960).
