MOOG Brand Reports Record Year In New Coverage

MoogReplacementThe MOOG Steering and Suspension brand reports that it completed a record-breaking expansion of application coverage in 2014, with more than 800 new part numbers – including nearly 600 additional control arms and assemblies – representing in excess of 470 million potential parts replacement opportunities. MOOG products are manufactured by Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp.

The MOOG product line grew by a total of 835 part numbers, with dramatically expanded coverage of foreign nameplate and domestic models. In addition to 597 new control arm and assembly part numbers, the brand introduced 49 additional tie rods, 42 bushings/kits, 47 wheel hub assemblies, 22 stabilizer link kits, 17 complete strut assemblies and dozens of other parts for popular late-model applications now entering the aftermarket repair cycle.

The Moog brand now offers nearly 2,000 control arm part numbers, covering a majority North American passenger vehicles. Federal-Mogul Motorparts also aggressively expanded its range of MOOG wheel hub assemblies, with additional coverage of popular late-model applications from Acura, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Toyota and other manufacturers. MOOG complete strut assemblies – engineered to improve vehicle dynamics, provide a smoother ride and help ensure faster, easier installation – were introduced for Dodge Ram, Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, Toyota Sequoia, and Volkswagen Beetle, Golf and Jetta model,s as well as other popular applications.
