Monroe Shocks And Struts Brand Kicks Off Car Care Season With Moneysaving ‘Feel The Difference’ Promotion

Consumers who want to help restore their vehicles' ride and handling characteristics by replacing worn shock absorbers and/or struts can save up to $100 through the Monroe Shocks and Struts brand's "Feel the Difference" mail-in rebate promotion.

Consumers who want to help restore their vehicles’ ride and handling characteristics by replacing worn shock absorbers and/or struts can save up to $100 through the Monroe Shocks and Struts brand’s “Feel the Difference” mail-in rebate promotion.

Now through April 30, consumers can receive a Visa prepaid card worth up to $100 with their qualifying purchase of Monroe or Rancho ride control products.

Monroe and Rancho products, manufactured in the U.S. by global vehicle components supplier Tenneco Inc., are available through thousands of leading parts and service providers.

“Spring is the ideal time to handle any safety-related repair needs that have arisen over the winter months to ensure proper vehicle performance for spring and summer travel,” said Denise Hanefeld, brand and marketing manager, North America Aftermarket, Tenneco. “Replacing worn shocks and struts is a proven way to help maintain safe vehicle handling by shortening stopping distance under certain conditions and restoring vehicle stability and control for a balanced ride. Our ‘Feel the Difference’ promotion helps vehicle owners recover some of the cost of this repair while delivering ride and handling improvements they will notice and appreciate.”

The “Feel the Difference” mail-in rebate promotion offers Visa prepaid cards in values of $50, $75 and $100, depending on purchased products. Consumers can receive a $50 card with the purchase of four qualifying Monroe or Rancho shocks; a $75 card with the purchase of two qualifying Monroe shocks and two qualifying Monroe struts; and a $100 card with the purchase of four qualifying Monroe struts, including Monroe Quick-Strut replacement assemblies. Rebate submissions must be postmarked no later than May 31. Restrictions apply; see monroe.com for details.

In addition to the opportunity to save money during the promotion period, Tenneco and the Monroe brand have launched the new “Feel the Difference” guarantee on premium Monroe shocks and struts. This exclusive guarantee promises consumers that they will experience the benefits of renewed vehicle control, handling, stability and comfort during a risk-free 90-day or 1,000-mile (1,600-kilometer) trial period. Those not satisfied with their purchase can return to the service provider during the trial period to receive a refund of the original purchase price (less any discounts and/or rebates), as well as reimbursement of labor costs of up to $100 per axle and wheel alignment up to $80, if applicable, when performed by a service professional.
