Motorists can look to Monroe for an extra incentive – up to a $125 mail-in rebate – to maintain and replace ride control components this spring during the new Monroe “Stimulus Plan” promotion. Beginning April 1 and running through May 31, 2009, the promotion will give consumers up to $125 back for purchases of select combinations of Monroe and Rancho ride control products.

“Monroe has never offered such a large rebate amount in its history. There is truly no better time to replace your ride control components than during the Monroe ‘Stimulus Plan’ promotion,” said Sheryl Bomia, North America programs manager, Tenneco. “We hope that this gives consumers an extra incentive to have their ride control components checked at their next service appointment, especially during this challenging economic time.”

Monroe, one of North America’s leading brands of shocks, struts and related automotive components, and manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc., will reward consumers with a $125 mail-in rebate if they purchase four Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies. To qualify for an $80 mail-in rebate, motorists must purchase four Monroe Reflex or Monroe Sensa-Trac struts or two Rancho RS9000XL shocks and two Rancho QuickLIFT units. • Two Monroe Reflex or Sensa-Trac shocks and two Monroe Reflex or Sensa-Trac struts
• Two Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies
• Four Rancho RS9000XL shocks
• Four Rancho RS9000XL Pro Series shocks
