Mitchell 1 announces its Manager SE shop management system is now integrated with its ProDemand repair, diagnostic and maintenance information program, providing an enhanced workflow and intuitive navigation between the two systems. In addition, the new version of Manager SE has been fully tested and is supported on the new Windows 8 operating system.

“Manager SE is our premium shop management system, designed to improve shop efficiencies at every step. Integrating with our premium information system is a natural evolution of our product lines,” said Ben Johnson, director of product management, Mitchell 1. “One of the underlying upgrades to this release is an upgraded database architecture which allows us to support this version on the new Windows 8 operating system. Our users who upgrade their PC hardware will have a seamless experience with their Manager SE system.”

With a single click, Manager SE users may directly access the contents of ProDemand, including industry-leading estimating, maintenance, service, fluids and TSB information. Items selected in ProDemand are transferred together into Manager SE and automatically added to the repair order or estimate in progress. Searching is more streamlined, too, with enhanced viewing and sorting features.

The TSB viewer in ProDemand speeds up the process for searching systems or specific issues and generates a record of the TSB reference for work completed by embedding a link to the relevant TSB article in the repair order.

All Manager SE customers will receive the update at no charge, and those with a current ProDemand subscription will also receive complimentary preview access to SureTrack, Mitchell 1’s new expert-based diagnostic resource. In addition, existing Mitchell 1 Manager 5.9 users are invited to upgrade to the new version of Manager SE at no additional charge.
