Since 1974, Mid America Motorworks has been pushing the boundaries and changing the way Corvette lovers enjoy the hobby. In conjunction with the aftermarket parts and accessories company’s 40th anniversary, Mid America has introduced a brand-new, database-driven e-commerce website.

The all-new www.mamotorworks.com provides Corvette and air-cooled VW enthusiasts with product information, photographs, videos, instructions and more. The company says that the site goes well beyond just parts and prices to become a resource to help car lovers make more informed decisions about their purchases, and to have an interactive and educational shopping experience.

“There’s nothing more frustrating than going to a website and not getting the details you’re looking for,” said Mike Yager, founder and chief cheerleader of Mid America Motorworks. “Our customers want and deserve more information when they’re shopping and even when they’re just browsing. From color and texture swatches to technical content, manufacturer specs and diagrams, our website delivers.”

The new website is designed as a multi-faceted online tool for the Corvette and VW enthusiast. It serves as a buying guide, allowing people to view different colors, styles and logo options with a few mouse clicks. They also can shop by brand for fast results. It’s a research tool, providing vehicle specs, history and other helpful information at no cost or added commitment from the user. It’s also a newsroom, sharing Mid America Motorworks news and announcements on new products, corporate information and event updates. And of course, it’s an online store, with parts and accessories for Corvette and Air-Cooled VW enthusiasts, including new and improved gifting sections.

Customers also can create a personal profile and add an icon for their own Corvette or VW. They will have the ability to track orders to their doorstep, review past orders and keep their info up to date with ease. The new website provides an online supplement to the more than 4 million printed catalogs that Mid America Motorworks produces for Corvette and Air-Cooled VW customers each year.
