LIQUI MOLY Honored By The Altrom Group

The Altrom Group, the import parts division of Genuine Parts Co., has awarded LIQUI MOLY its "Supplier of the Year" award. The award was presented at the Altrom Sales Summit in Seattle, Wash.

"This is a great honor for us and inspires us to continue offering not only top products but first class service in the future," said Manfred Fischer, responsible for North American operations of LIQUI MOLY.
 
LIQUI MOLY also won this same accolade two years prior. The Altrom Group’s Supplier of the Year award is a combined award for both the USA and Canada. Eligible companies are judged in the areas of quality, commitment, sales growth, marketing initiatives, training and sales support, commitment to meeting orders and partnership.
 
“It was through hard work, dedication and partnership that made it all possible,” said Pat Nichol, president of Altrom. “I’m sure there will be other vendors hard on their tail in the coming year to try and gain that spot.”
 
LIQUI MOLY is a longtime partner with Altrom, as import vehicles are the main market of both companies. Fischer noted that in particular, automobiles from Europe often require not just any motor oil, but rather a special oil precisely suited to the engine.
 
"We at LIQUI MOLY have the right oil for every automobile, with the official approval of the automobile manufacturer," said Fischer. "The wrong oil doesn’t just mean a voided warranty. Fuel consumption and wear also increase significantly, and there is a danger of serious damage to the engine."
 
The recipe for success of LIQUI MOLY goes beyond top products made in Germany. These are supported by training seminars and technical support, as well as sales tips and marketing materials, he added.
 
"They represent not the end but the beginning of our work," Fischer said. "With LIQUI MOLY, the customer receives not only motor oils and additives, but also extensive complete packages. That is what makes us and our customers so successful on the market."
