KYB Americas Corp.
has announced the winners of the 2017 “Win With KYB” sweepstakes promotion, which offered automotive service provider owners the opportunity to win a one-of-a kind KYB Max Performance diesel pickup truck. The sweepstakes ran from September through November 2017. To enter, service providers registered their shop at winwithkyb.com. There was no purchase necessary to win.

The grand prize was awarded to Dan Miller of Fleet Auto Repair in Oklahoma City. Miller received the truck at the “Win with KYB” press event held at his facility on Dec. 19, 2017.  The KYB Max Performance Truck comes equipped with KYB MonoMax shocks and is valued at more than $50,000. The winning entry was entered by Miller’s tenured service writer, Rachelle Howard. As a reward, Miller came to an agreement to actually purchase the truck from Howard.

Fleet Auto Repair’s winning entry also was registered through longtime KYB distribution partner, XL Parts. XL Parts is a premiere automotive parts supplier with a footprint in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Executive and local XL parts representatives also were on hand at the event.

“This is the third consecutive year we have run ‘Win With KYB’ and we are very happy with the amount of excitement that we were able to create with our KYB Max Performance Truck,” said KYB Vice President Mike Fiorito. “The truck was intended to draw attention to our comprehensive product coverage for the growing truck market among our great distribution partners like XL Parts and their top customers. We also love the opportunity to reward hard working automotive service professionals.”

“Fleet Auto Repair is a great customer that expects quality parts from a quality supplier,” said Mario Garza, XL Parts vice president of merchandising. “We at XL Parts were excited to work with KYB for this promotion. KYB has been a long-standing supply partner for over 15 years that has always supported XL Parts by providing OE quality product solutions to its customers.”
