Inaugural Federated Auto Parts World of Outlaws ‘Ironman 55’ Race Set for August 4

The first-ever Federated Auto Parts World of Outlaws "Ironman 55" race will be held on August 4 at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO. The inaugural race will be the main event in a night of racing that will also feature Federated spokesperson Kenny Schrader.

The first-ever Federated Auto Parts World of Outlaws “Ironman 55” race will be held on August 4 at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO.  The inaugural race will be the main event in a night of racing that will also feature Federated spokesperson Kenny Schrader.

“August 4 will be a memorable night of racing at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, including our sponsorship of the premiere event of the World of Outlaws season,” said J.R. Bishop, director of racing and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts. “We are also excited that Kenny Schrader will be driving the Federated dirt track car in one of the preliminary races of the night. We have hospitality planned for our members and their customers, and we will also have some contest winners in attendance, so we know it will be a fun night for all involved.”

In addition to the Federated Auto Parts World of Outlaws “Ironman 55” featured event, several other races will be held on August 4 at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 including an UMP modified race in which Schrader, who is one of the co-owners of the track, will drive the Federated open wheel modified.  Several hundred Federated members and customers, along with the winners of the Federated Dream Weekend sweepstakes, will be on hand for the festivities, and one of those lucky customers will win a 2012 GM vehicle.
