For the sixth time in 15 years, the National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA) has named Hennessy Industries, Inc., its Supplier of the Year. Hennessy is the first company to receive the award six times.

NAPA gives the award to a supplier each year based on an overall rating relative to customer expectations and satisfaction. The rubric of criteria includes quality, delivery, sales growth and commercial support.

NAPA Vice President of Tools and Equipment Dave Nicki presented Hennessy’s leadership team with the award at the NAPA Tools and Equipment Meeting in Atlanta earlier this year. In addition, Nicki came to La Vergne, Tenn., in late July to share the award with the Hennessy team at Hennessy’s headquarters.

“At Hennessy, our employees work hard to provide quality products with exceptional customer service,” said Sanjay Chowbey, president of Hennessy Industries. “It’s also great motivation for us to stay on track.”

Hennessy was selected from nominees across the country by NAPA tools and equipment sales team members. In conjunction with the award, NAPA also recognized Hennessy for its 99 percent order fill rate.

“We pride ourselves on exceeding expectations at Hennessy,” said Kevin Keefe, Hennessy Industries’ vice president of marketing. “We’re honored to receive this award again. It belongs to everyone who works here, and it’s a great reminder about why we do what we do.”
