Four Seasons announces that one of its facilities, Hayden Automotive, has achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification for the design and manufacturing of fan clutches and fan drives for the automotive industry, as part of its ongoing effort to enhance quality and further establish OE business.

“Hayden Automotive operates a Quality Management System that complies with all of the requirements set forth for this certification,” said Director of Marketing Dave Cole. “This quality system involves every facet of our business by insuring that all processes and procedures are documented and followed. By becoming certified, Hayden Automotive is able to compete for contracts with OE customers.”

ISO/TS 16949:2002 is an ISO Technical Specification, which aligns existing American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF) and Italian (AVSQ) automotive quality systems standards within the global automotive industry with the aim of eliminating the need for multiple certifications to satisfy customer requirements. It was developed by The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) in conjunction with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO/TS 16949:2002 specifies the quality system requirements for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of automotive related products.

Four Seasons, a remanufacturer of automotive compressors, also manufactures and distributes a complete line of replacement climate control products for passenger cars, SUVs, trucks and fleets. Standard Motor Products, the parent company of Four Seasons, also offers ignition, emission controls, wire and cable, electrical and fuel delivery components to the aftermarket industry.
