NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kevin Harvick will answer fans’ questions live online during Tuesday night’s #ChampionChat session on Twitter, TweetChat.com and the VYou.com conversational video site. The #ChampionChat series is sponsored by Federal-Mogul’s Champion brand of spark plugs, filters, wipers and performance chemical additives.

The monthly chats are part of an aggressive grassroots marketing program that has helped Harvick and the “Performance Driven” Champion brand connect with millions of racing fans and other consumers. Participation in the online chats continues to grow at a double-digit rate, and the number of views of video-based messages increased from 10,000 to more than 36,000 in July.

“The #ChampionChat series has been very effective in leveraging social media to engage consumers in a meaningful dialog about racing and other topics,” said Federal-Mogul Brand Strategy Manager Jessica Wynn. “Kevin does a great job of connecting with fans, and they’re spreading the word to more and more followers each month.”

During each #ChampionChat session, Harvick answers questions for 30 minutes via Twitter and TweetChat.com, then devotes an additional 30 minutes responding to questions through VYou.com. Anyone can ask a question by logging on to TweetChat.com or Federal-Mogul’s @ChampionParts Twitter feed and adding the #ChampionChat hashtag to the end of their tweet.
