Gates Corp. has introduced a new hybrid polymer air hose, developed by combining extensive customer feedback and the company’s engineering expertise. It has zero memory, so it will lay flat and make the job easier, not harder, according to Gates.
Gates says, with this new design, technicians no longer are forced to fight kinks, curls and inflexibility. This easy-to-use solution makes the job easier with every torque, cut or grind. The hose also can withstand high temperatures.
Included in the release is new coverage for 77 product categories.

A total of 88 new Sensors, Switches, Actuators, and Connectors have also been added, including Power Door Lock Actuators, Charge Air Coolers, and Vehicle Speed Sensors, expanding SMP’s powertrain-neutral coverage.
