ASE, a non-profit organization established to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals, partnered with 37 original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket industry sponsors, including Gates, to recognize outstanding technicians. Award winners in the auto, truck and collision categories were selected based on their ASE certification test scores, on-the-job excellence and community service.

Out of thousands of ASE technicians who competed for top honors within the Master Automobile & L1 Technician category, Miller prevailed. He and other technicians will be honored today by ASE at the annual Fall Awards Banquet held in Charlotte, NC.

Miller works as the lead technician at Stonum Automotive in Longmont, CO, and has been employed there for the past six years. He was a sergeant in the United States Army and served in Panama, Kuwait and Iraq.

Miller currently balances a busy work schedule with attending college classes, as he has set his sights on a future career as an engineer.

Miller and his wife Maureen Williamson-Miller have two children, Brendan Williamson and Danielle Miller. A true Renaissance man, Miller enjoys remodeling his home, playing hockey, golfing, hunting, bike riding, collecting World War II models, playing chess and woodworking in his free time.
