Forward Lift Two-Post, Four-Post And Other Vehicle Lifts Recertified To Wear Gold ALI Label

Forward Lift's most popular lift models have been recertified to wear the updated Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) gold label. A new standard covering lift design, construction and testing in North America, ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2011, replaced an earlier version from 2006 and necessitated the re-testing of all previously approved lift models.

All previously certified Forward Lift vehicle lifts have been recertified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) to meet requirements in the updated standard covering lift design, construction and testing in North America. Forward Lift’s entire light-duty two-post, four-post and low-rise lines, plus three popular heavy-duty models, received approval.Forward Lift’s most popular lift models have been recertified to wear the updated Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) gold label. Since the new standard made the old one obsolete, all lift manufacturers with certified lifts were required to re-evaluate their listed products. Upon completion of the re-evaluation, Forward Lift received approval for each of its previously certified lifts. ALI-certified models include Forward Lift’s entire light-duty two-post, four-post and low-rise lines, plus the heavy-duty CR18 and CR30 four-post lifts and the new CRA18 heavy-duty alignment lift.

“The ALI gold label provides verification that a lift’s design has been tested by a recognized third-party testing lab and proven to meet the industry standard for safety and performance,” said Lance Jones, Forward Lift sales and brand manager. “With our certified models, you get the rare combination of peace of mind and economical pricing.”

Only lifts that wear the gold label have been third-party tested and certified by ALI to meet the ANSI standard. Demand for certified lifts is growing among responsible shop owners. Code enforcement agencies, insurance companies and health and safety officials actively enforce mandates requiring that only certified lifts be installed in most jurisdictions across the United States and Canada.

ALI’s directory of certified lifts has been updated and can be accessed at www.ali-directory.org. Any previously certified lifts that did not meet the new standard requirements have been removed from the database.
