Firestone Industrial Products Releases 2010 Air Helper Springs Catalog

The 58-page catalog features detailed descriptions of Firestone's air helper springs, which are designed to help level your vehicle, maximize load capacity and improve a vehicle's ride.

Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, offers its 2010 air helper springs catalog detailing products and accessories available for today’s cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motor homes and RVs.

The 58-page catalog features detailed descriptions of Firestone’s air helper springs, which are designed to help level your vehicle, maximize load capacity and improve a vehicle’s ride. Firestone’s latest product offerings are highlighted in the new catalog, including the R4Tech hybrid air/leaf suspension system featuring Firestone Ride-Rite air spring and SANLUIS Rassini suspension technologies. The R4Tech system is designed to replace the factory leaf spring suspension to deliver an improved ride at all times by utilizing the variable spring rate of the air spring to stiffen when the truck is loaded and soften when unloaded.

Firestone’s catalog also features Work-Rite load assist springs — an entry-level load management system featuring progressive load-deflection characteristics that enable the load assist springs to absorb road shock, support weight and improve ride comfort for loaded vehicles — and the company’s new Ride-Rite LS load adaptive shocks, which are designed as an upgrade to the company’s Ride-Rite kits.

The catalog includes a complete application guide that lets dealers quickly search parts by vehicle make and model.  In addition, the catalog has an "Application Guide by Kit" — a reverse parts lookup of the top 25 Ride-Rite kits, as well as the top 10 Coil-Rite and Work-Rite kits, along with the vehicles they are designed to fit. An application guide for the R4Tech system is also included. Dealers will find individual air springs, air components, service parts and air accessory systems listed with part numbers and descriptions. Ready for distribution on November 16, the catalog includes technical tips along with frequently asked questions and answers.

Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the vehicle’s frame and suspension and offer added load support in addition to vehicle leveling. Load carrying capacities vary between 3,000 and 5,000 lbs. per set.

Sport-Rite air helper springs mount between the frame and the suspension to enhance the vehicle’s ride characteristics, while also keeping the vehicle level. Designed for small pickups, SUVs and vans, Sport-Rite air springs support up to 3,000 lbs. per set.

Coil-Rite air helper springs mount inside an existing open coil spring suspension and allow for adjustable spring rates that are superior to standard coil springs. They support between 500 and 1,000 lbs. per set.

Level-Rite kits feature a fully protected, reversible sleeve air spring paired with a high-performance Bilstein monotube shock absorber to help level the front end of vehicles that see use in snow-plowing, off-roading, or that have slide-in campers or large, heavy grill guards.

Firestone’s Complete Suspension Solutions — including Ride-Rite, Sport-Rite, Coil-Rite and Level-Rite air helper springs as well as their complete line of air accessory systems — have become synonymous with quality, durability and outstanding customer support.  For more information, visit www.ride-rite.com.
