Fidanza Simplifies Online Ordering

Fidanza, well-known for producing high-tech flywheels, clutches cam gears, flex plates, short throw shifters and CV shafts, is helping enthusiasts avoid those oft-found digital dilemmas with a number of enhancements to its website ....

Shopping on the web has changed the way today’s auto enthusiasts research, find and buy the specific parts and products they need. Yet so many automotive specialty websites don’t seem to have considered the usability of their site and of their ordering process, resulting in customer frustration, inaccurate orders and dissatisfaction. Fidanza, well-known for producing high-tech flywheels, clutches cam gears, flex plates, short throw shifters and CV shafts, is helping enthusiasts avoid those oft-found digital dilemmas with a number of enhancements to www.Fidanza.com.

An updated search function now allows customers to locate products by entering a vehicle’s year, make and model. Fidanza.com then provides the online shopper with every Fidanza product available for that specific vehicle application. The expanded Fidanza search engine also permits visitors to find products via the part number.

"Our goal with this latest version of our website is to make it extremely easy for customers to select and order the right products," said Bob Scheid, vice president, Fidanza. "As part of our continuous improvement effort, we looked at how best to streamline the process of locating parts, and designed a search function that would lead a customer to the correct product part for any vehicle application, regardless of the amount of information they had available."

To ensure more accurate online ordering, Fidanza.com now also features a series of "footnotes" for each specific application. These annotations, similar to the notes found in Fidanza’s print catalog, provide very specific technical tips and advice leading customers to a more informed purchasing decision.

"We’ve added technical notes to each application to eliminate any possible error in ordering," said Scheid. "Precise details guide the buyer, pointing to vital specifics that help our customers in the parts selection process."

Once Web shoppers identify the right product at Fidanza.com, a purchase can be made immediately through the site’s secure order placement system. Orders are filled and shipped by select distributors.

In addition to its e-commerce functions, Fidanza.com features comprehensive product information on Fidanza offerings, a distributor directory (searchable by state), news section, customer vehicle photos and Fidanza videos are also found on the site.

With ground-breaking new designs, the latest manufacturing technologies and the most advanced materials, Fidanza consistently leads the way in producing high-quality aluminum flywheels, clutches, cam gears, flex plates, CV shafts and short throw shifters for track, tuner and street applications. Fidanza markets more than 700 SKUs for this growing industry, many of which are SFI-approved.
