Federated to Sponsor NASCAR’s Kenny Wallace in 2010

Federated will be the primary sponsor of Wallace and the Jay Robinson Racing Chevrolet in eight NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2010 including the Federated 300 on June 5 in Nashville. Federated will also be an associate sponsor of the Jay Robinson Racing Chevrolet for the remainder of the season.

As part of its expanded motorsports program, Federated will be sponsoring NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace and his race team in 2010, according to J.R. Bishop, director of racing and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts.

“We are thrilled to have Kenny Wallace as the newest member of the Federated racing team,” said Bishop.  “Coupled with our long-time sponsorship of Kenny Schrader, Federated is now involved with two of the most popular and personable drivers in NASCAR.  We could not have two better people representing Federated than the two Kennys.”

In addition, Federated will be the primary sponsor of Kenny Wallace and his race team in over 50 dirt track events in 2010 and will serve as the “Official Auto Parts Supplier” for the Kenny Wallace and Jay Robinson Racing teams.  Wallace will also serve as an official spokesperson for Federated Auto Parts.

Kenny Wallace will also be part of what has quickly become a Federated favorite, the “Get Dirty with Kenny” promotion where several lucky Federated Car Care Center members get the chance to dirt track race with Kenny Schrader.  In 2010, those contest winners will get the chance to get dirty with two Kennys, Schrader and Wallace.

“We are really looking forward to Kenny Wallace joining the Federated Auto Parts team,” continued Bishop.  “I know our members and their customers will love getting to know Kenny as he is one of the most energetic drivers in NASCAR.”
