Federated Extends Sponsorship Of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race At Richmond International Raceway

Federated announced it has extended its sponsorship agreement with Richmond International Raceway (RIR) to continue the NASCAR Sprint Cup Federated Auto Parts 400 for several more years.

Federated announced it has extended its sponsorship agreement with Richmond International Raceway (RIR) to continue the NASCAR Sprint Cup Federated Auto Parts 400 for several more years.

“All of us at Federated Auto Parts are proud to extend our relationship with Richmond International Raceway and its premier spot on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Our members and their customers love the fun-filled activities and hospitality at RIR, providing our partners with lasting memories. We had another great race weekend and look forward to many more to come.”

In addition to the contract extension, Federated Auto Parts, which hosts nearly 2,000 guests in hospitality and suites on race weekends at RIR, remains the Official Auto Parts Supplier of Richmond International Raceway.

“I can’t tell you how excited the Richmond International Raceway team is to share in this announcement,” said RIR President Dennis Bickmeier. “We added Federated Auto Parts to a growing list of Virginia-based companies last year, and knowing they’ll be part of our family solidifies our partnership for years to come.”

In Saturday’s “Last Race Before the Chase,” Carl Edwards captured the Federated 400 at RIR with Kurt Busch, Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr., all securing spots for the “Chase,” which starts Sept. 15 at the Chicagoland Speedway.
