Federated Auto Parts Car Captures NASCAR West Race in Portland

In front of an enthusiastic group of Federated customers and guests, Jim Inglebright drove the Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet to victory at the NASCAR West Race held July 19 at the Portland International Speedway.

“We want to congratulate Jim and the Federated team on a great win in Portland,” said J.R. Bishop, director of racing and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts.  “It is always extra special when one of the cars we sponsor wins a race where we are having a hospitality event. All of our customers had a great time cheering Jim on to victory.”

In 2009, Federated will entertain thousands of customers by hosting hospitality events at racing venues around the country. From the Federated 300 Nationwide Race in Nashville to dirt tracks coast-to-coast, Federated provides hospitality opportunities to all its members so they can entertain their customers in a fun and informal environment that always includes great racing.

“Our event went extremely well and we had some excellent exposure for Federated Auto Parts in front of thousands of race fans,” said Pat Blechschmidt, general manager of Federated member AED Inc. who hosted the hospitality event in Portland, OR.

“Our guests had a fabulous time and they are already talking about next year. Jim Inglebright was absolutely incredible with our customers. Both he and his wife spent about an hour in our hospitality tent before the race talking with our guests, signing autographs and taking photos. They were outstanding representatives for Federated Auto Parts.”
