Federal-Mogul Motorparts states that many of the latest MOOG part numbers are the first available within the aftermarket for their respective applications.

Among the new part numbers reported to be “first-to-aftermarket” now available through MOOG distributors are a front lower control arm bushing (No. K200853) for more than 640,000 Chevrolet Aveo (2004-‘11), Aveo 5 (2004-‘05 and 2009-‘11), Sonic (2012-‘13), and Pontiac G3 and G3 Wave (2009-‘10), Wave (2005-‘08) and Wave 5 (2007) models. The MOOG brand now also offers the aftermarket’s first front stabilizer bar links (K750741 and K750742) for 2014-‘15 Jeep Cherokee models, the company says.

Also included in June’s new-part introductions were a front stabilizer bar link (K750740) for more than 1.1 million Ford Edge (2015-‘16), Fusion (2013-2016) and Lincoln MKX (2016) and MKZ (2013-‘16) models; right outer tie rod end (ES800880) for 2011-‘15 Ford F250, F450 and F550 Super Duty and 2008-‘15 F350 Super Duty trucks. The brand also introduced drag links for 2011-‘15 F250 and F350 Super Duty trucks (DS300040) and 2011-’14 F250, F350 and F550 and 2011-‘15 F450 Super Duty (DS300039) models.

The MOOG line of replacement control arms grew by 83 part numbers covering a total of approximately 24.6 million registered vehicles, while Federal-Mogul Motorparts also introduced 16 MOOG alignment tools, 10 stabilizer bar links and kits, seven strut mounts, six bushings/kits, five drag links and four complete strut assemblies.

“With nearly 950 new part numbers introduced in the first half of 2016, MOOG continues to deliver on its promise of category-leading coverage combined with world-class innovation, quality and performance,” said Bryon Osterland, general manager, global steering and suspension, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “These unique benefits make MOOG essential to vehicle service businesses that are committed to long-term growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.”
