Fast Undercar Wraps Up Free Ride Summer Sweepstakes

The grand prize for this 90-day promotion was a brand new 2018 Chevy Silverado fully equipped and modified with many unique upgrades.

Aug. 30 marked the “End of Summer” and the culmination of Fast Undercar’s “Free Ride” summer sweepstakes, when Fast Undercar awarded a brand new 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 4×4, fully equipped and upgraded with StopTech slotted brake rotors, Lift Kit, fully adjustable coil over front suspension, 20-inch wheel and tire package and a full body wrap featuring the Fast Undercar logo to Reid’s Tire & Auto Service, in Brooks, Oregon. Reid’s is a proud and loyal customer of Fast Undercar’s franchise operation in Salem, Oregon.

The three-month promotion was a partnership with Fast Undercar’s exclusive brake vendor Centric Parts. Over the past three months, thousands of shops received instant win prizes including beverages, T-shirts and large screen TVs. The grand prize for this 90-day promotion was a brand new 2018 Chevy Silverado fully equipped and modified with many unique upgrades.

The grand prize-winner was selected through a random drawing. Winner Reid’s Tire & Auto Service is owned and operated by Terry Frederickson and Jaime Guzman. Frederickson and Guzman are loyal supporters of Fast Undercar and have been using Centric brake products for many years.

“When we got the call that Reid’s won, my first comment was, they are perfect! Reid’s is the epitome of an independent tire and automotive shop and they appreciate the service that Fast Undercar provides,” said Tyson Crumley, franchise owner of Fast Undercar Salem.

The presentation of the grand prize took place at an open house BBQ held at Fast Undercar’s Salem warehouse location. The event was attended by more than 100 customers, Centric representatives Rick Fox and Erick Esparza, the Western Regional Division Manager, as well as Fast Undercar staff. Frederickson and Guzman shared some of the history of Reid’s with everyone in attendance and added that Frederickson is a second-generation owner, and Guzman, who has been his lead technician for many years, is today part owner.

“It’s a little unbelievable, we were aware of the truck promo, but never would have imagined that we would win it,” said Frederickson. Guzman’s young family attended, and it was clear that the truck went to a good home. The owners plan to use their new truck as a shop vehicle and as advertising for their business.

“This was our first attempt on a system-wide promotion, and let’s just say we didn’t start small,” said Matt Porter, Fast Undercar sales/marketing and franchise relations. “All of our locations really embraced this promotion and utilized it to discuss and educate our customers on the benefits of installing Centric brake products. The shops enjoyed the many layers of the promotion as well as watching the truck build on social media. It is always tough to gauge promotions, but this one was a clear winner. We can’t thank everyone at Centric/APC enough for their continued support of Fast Undercar.”
