ETI’s Annual ToolTech conference continues to be the premiere industry event regardless of the recent challenges affecting the automotive industry.  This year more than 75 professionals participated in this April’s ToolTech 2009 in San Antonio, TX.
“This year’s ToolTech was very well received by the attendees.  The speakers, including presentations from Honda and Toyota, were very informative and support ETI’s commitment to quality programs and events for our member companies,” said Jessie Korosec, ETI marketing manager.  “ETI would like to thank all of the OE’s for attending and participating in the sought after One-on-One Meetings.  We would also like to thank the attendees for their support and we look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s ToolTech in Napa Valley, California the week of April 19, 2010.”

ToolTech is the only event in the automotive-related tool and equipment industry that focuses exclusively on the companies who buy and sell tools and equipment. Participants can network with industry peers, meet potential customers, meet potential product providers, confer with clients, meet in one-on-one structured meetings, and gain valuable insights from presentations by industry leaders.

“2009 Tool Tech was great.  Given the difficult economic conditions facing everyone this year, I was very impressed with the strong attendance and the enthusiasm of the attendees as well as the ETI staff! This clearly demonstrated the high value we place on the ETI functions and especially this annual event.  There is simply no other cost effective opportunity available to allow OEMs and the tool and equipment industry to come together in this type of open atmosphere allowing us to discuss our needs and issues.  Tool Tech gives everyone the opportunity to improve what we do on a daily basis by allowing the open sharing of ideas and information related to our real world needs.  Tool Tech helps me make those final buying decisions each year without pressure and it helps me ensure we acquire the best possible tools and equipment,” remarked Suzuki’s Dennis Blough, Manager, Service, Tools, Equipment, and Information.
“I enjoyed my time at ToolTech. The One-on-One meetings went well and I appreciated the information the speakers presented,” said Dan Brass, VP of sales, Bright Solutions.
