Equipment And Tool Institute Returns To Detroit

Equipment-and-Tool-Institute-ETI-logo-300x154The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI), an association of automotive tool and equipment manufacturers, technical information providers and training organizations, has relocated its corporate office to its new headquarters in the Metropolitan Detroit, Michigan, area.

ETI says the new office will allow the association to strengthen its ties to the automotive community in the Detroit area and to continue serving its members by working together and sharing information. The association strives to maintain its commitment to its objective of advancing the vehicle service industry by providing technical data and open dialog between the manufacturers of transportation products, government regulators and the providers of tools, equipment and service information.

ETI’s new corporate headquarters will be the base of operations for all corporate and administrative functions. In addition to the move, ETI has hired a new office administrator, Jean Peltier, to assist in the day-to-day operations of the institute.

“As we finalize the transition of our corporate management, we will consolidate our operations in the Detroit area to help facilitate our growing business and to continue to support our members as we move into the next stages of the association,” said Greg Potter, ETI’s executive manager.

ETI’s organizational focus will continue to be on technical information, member events and its vertical groups – Scan Tool Group, Mechanical Systems Group, Collision Repair Group, and Shop Management and Information Software Group – and their specifically channeled interests.

ETI’s new address is:

37899 W.12 Mile Rd. Suite 220

Farmington Hills, Michigan 48331.
