Dorman Products has released its December New Product Announcement, featuring 281 new parts, 123 of which are exclusive formerly "Dealer Only" parts, according to the company.

Highlights of these new product opportunities include:

• A new offering of remanufactured Hybrid Drive Batteries. Dorman’s first two batteries provide coverage for Toyota Priuses from 2009-01. These direct replacements are ready to install, include all electronics, and require no programming. Dorman’s Toyota battery applications are re-engineered with upgraded nickel-plated bus bars to reduce the corrosion commonly associated with the original units. • An addition to Dorman’s growing line of third brake lamps that feature integrated LED bulbs offering up to 10 times more brightness than standard bulbs and include wire harnesses (where applicable). Twenty SKUs are now available, including coverage for Chevy Malibus from 2008-04. (P/N 923-242)

• An airbag lamp for popular Ford, Lincoln and Mercury applications from 2011-01. (P/N 924-899)

• A daytime running lamp resistor kit for various GM models from 2007-97 that includes the wire harness for a complete repair. (P/N 704-206)

• Additions to Dorman’s 250-plus SKU door lock actuator offering fitting Toyota Camrys (2006-02) and Corollas (2008-05). (P/Ns 931-430 & 931-431)

• Oil filter housing, water outlets, steering shafts, exhaust manifold kits, center support bearings, release cables and more.
