Dorman Products has announced the launch of its brand new 2014 Service Dealer Guide (SDG), Volume I. The new guide features more than 125 new formerly "Dealer Only" parts now available through the aftermarket. According to Dorman, the availability of these new parts reduces dependency on the OE dealer and gives customers a better choice in automotive replacement parts.

Highlights from the new Service Dealer Guide include Dorman’s new offering of remanufactured replacement Hybrid Drive batteries, spare tire hoists, third brake lights, steering shafts, diesel engine parts, intake manifold runner controls and more. The new SDG also features a number of exclusive repair opportunities from Dorman such as:

• An EGR cooler for Ford 6.0L diesel engines that features redesigned straight tube construction that reduces the carbon build up associated with original part failure. (P/N 904-262)

• Several new programmable keyless remotes that include a free programming tool. This exclusive new, patent pending, programming tool enables drivers to easily sync Dorman’s replacement remotes by simply plugging into the vehicle’s OBDII port. (P/Ns 13731, 13732, 73735, 13736 & 13737)

• An exclusive direct replacement rear applique panel for Ford Explorers and Mercury Mountaineers from 2005-’02. Original panels often crack or break completely leaving drivers with an unsightly rear vehicle panel. Dorman offers a variety of colors to match original exteriors in addition to a paint-to-match option. (P/Ns 924-091, 924-092, 924-093, 924-094 & 924-096)
