DENSO Sales California recently announced the availability of its new 2009 Powersports Spark Plug Catalog (#SP-PS-CAT-1108). The catalog includes domestic and import snowmobile, motorcycle, moped, all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and marine applications.

"DENSO spark plugs can be used to boost performance in a variety of engine types in addition to those used in cars and trucks," said Fran Labun, vice president, Sales Group for DENSO Sales California. "This new catalog clearly identifies the range of DENSO spark plugs customers can choose from to fit their particular powersports application."

The catalog includes part numbers for DENSO’s entire line of spark plugs, including the U-Groove, Double Platinum, Iridium Power and Iridium Racing plugs. In addition, the catalog contains electrode configuration identification charts and spark plug installation information. Spark plug buyer guides and cross-reference guides are also included.

DENSO pioneered the use of platinum in spark plug manufacturing. Platinum offers superior resistance to erosion and corrosion enabling DENSO to create a spark plug capable of consistent, extended operation. DENSO also was the first to develop and patent Iridium alloy technology. DENSO Iridium spark plugs contain more than 90 percent Iridium alloy – the highest concentration on the market. DENSO Iridium spark plugs increase horsepower, boost fuel economy and improve acceleration.
