DENSO Sales California has introduced four new Engine Performance Technical Training seminars for the automotive service professional. The seminars focus on service, diagnostic and repair best practices for engines manufactured by the following carmakers:
1. Chrysler Engine Performance (CEP);
2. Ford Engine Performance (FEP);
3. General Motor Engine Performance (GEP); and
4. Volkswagen and Audi Engine Performance Diagnostics (VEP).
The Chrysler Engine Performance (CEP) seminar will be available in January 2009. The Ford, GM and Volkswagen Engine Performance seminars will be available in November.
Taught by professional trainers and not sales people, these 8-hour classroom-style seminars focus on “best practices” concerning service, diagnostic and repair that is unique to engines produced by these manufacturers. Special tips to help increase first-time repair success and reduce diagnostic time will be shared throughout the training. The seminars will be offered by local parts distributors and will be held on-site throughout the U.S. and Canada giving the parts distributor an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the professional technicians who buy their parts.
“DENSO’s goal is to become a trusted partner with our customers and service professionals,” said Gene Stark, senior manager, Engineering and Technical Services departments. “We are excited to offer these four new courses in addition to the eight we currently offer. All of these courses have received outstanding reviews from the technicians who have taken them.”
