Coxreels Re-Engineers Full-Flow Fluid Path For The Reel Series

Coxreels has entirely re-engineered the fluid path on its 1195 Series reels. The 1195 Series now comes standard equipped with an in-line swivel and a remodeled low-profile outlet riser, offering superior full-flow characteristics and an improved operating pressure range.

In response to industry demand, Coxreels announces the entirely re-engineered fluid path on its 1195 Series reels. The 1195 Series now comes standard equipped with an in-line swivel and a remodeled low-profile outlet riser, offering superior full-flow characteristics and an improved operating pressure range.

The 1195 Series, featuring a sturdy one-piece, all welded “A” frame base for maximum stability and designed to handle 50’ to 125’ of 2” hose I.D. for increased volume delivery applications, now has an inline electroless nickel-plated steel NPT swivel. The swivel is anchored to a new bearing assembly that is machined from solid billet aluminum, ensuring swivel-to-axle concentricity, proper swivel alignment and improving seal life and integrity.

The newly revamped 1195 Series also features a one-piece swept outlet riser, eliminating machined flanges and O-ring flange seal; combined with the in-line swivel, the hose reel now offers maximum full-flow fluid path and increased operating psi rating up to 1,000 psi.

Coxreels also offers stainless-steel fluid paths for demanding applications in corrosive and hygienic environments. The new-style outlet riser has also been redesigned to accommodate various industry thread requirements such as NPT, BSP and NST. The 1195 Series with the alternative “90°” electroless nickel-plated steel NPT swivel is still offered and can be ordered by adding the suffix “-BUXX” to the end of the model number.
