NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kevin Harvick and Federal-Mogul’s Champion brand will bring racing enthusiasts and other consumers even closer to the action this year by conducting Harvick’s live #ChampionChat social media sessions at leading Sprint Cup series racetracks. The year’s first #ChampionChat session will take place at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 15, just hours after the driver of the No. 29 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet will have completed on-track testing at Daytona International Speedway.

“The #ChampionChat series provides an inside look at Sprint Cup racing from the perspective of one of the world’s most talented and popular drivers. We’re enhancing this consumer experience by connecting with Kevin right after he has gotten out from behind the wheel of the No. 29 car so he can tell us more about race preparation and strategy,” said Federal-Mogul Brand Strategy Manager Jessica Wynn.

During each #ChampionChat session, Harvick answers questions live via Twitter and TweetChat.com from 7 to 7:30 p.m. ET, then moves to the VYou.com conversational video site for an additional 30 minutes of dialog. To ask a question, simply log on to TweetChat.com or Federal-Mogul’s @ChampionParts Twitter feed and add the #ChampionChat hashtag to the end of each tweet.

The #ChampionChat series is sponsored by Federal-Mogul’s Champion brand of spark plugs, wiper blades and performance chemical additives. As official Champion spokesperson, Harvick participates in a variety of grassroots initiatives designed to connect the brand’s latest “Performance Driven” technologies with a new generation of consumers. Champion products are available for a broad range of applications, from automobiles, light trucks and SUVs to all-terrain vehicles, marine engines and lawn-and-garden equipment.
