Bosch ASA/CARS Seminar to Highlight ‘Trends in Technology and Automotive Service’

Al Krenz, director of service for Bosch's North American Aftermarket Division will present a technical seminar on 'Technology Trends and the Quest to Provide Service' at the Automotive Service Association's (ASA) Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) in November.

Al Krenz, director of service for Bosch’s North American Aftermarket Division will present a technical seminar on ‘Technology Trends and the Quest to Provide Service’ at the Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) in November. The seminar is scheduled to be held on Nov. 2 from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.

“Automotive service will continue to place progressively higher demands on technicians’ knowledge and skills,” said Krenz. “Vehicle manufacturers are constantly researching new and more advanced systems to control every on-board function from fuel efficiency to driver safety, comfort and convenience. Technicians need to prepare to service these vehicles, and we will begin to lay the groundwork for their transition into this service.”

The ‘Technology Trends’ technical seminar will provide an in-depth look at several systems developed for this purpose. The session will also cover system-specific training, tools and test equipment necessary to continue providing the level of service customers have come to expect from ASA-member auto repair businesses, according to Krenz.

Bosch is the world’s largest automotive supplier of parts and systems to the aftermarket and as original equipment to automotive manufacturers (OEMs), for both domestic and import vehicles.

Hosted by ASA, CARS is an annual event with a strong tradition of offering the best in technical training seminars taught by leading automotive instructors. For additional information, visit www.asashop.org.
