BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY Announces Partnership With TECHNET Professional Automotive Service

TECHNET provides technical solutions, marketing resources and business essentials for independently owned service centers across North America.

BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, a provider of shop management software for the automotive repair and maintenance industry, has announced its partnership with TECHNET Professional Automotive Service, which provides technical solutions, marketing resources and business essentials for independently owned service centers across North America. The two companies say their new partnership provides TECHNET members with a simpler, faster and more efficient way of completing the repair process.

Bolt On Technology - Logo“We are very excited to announce our partnership with TECHNET,” said Michael Risich, founder and CEO of BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY. “This partnership felt like a perfect fit for what both BOLT ON and TECHNET Professional aim to accomplish. In an industry where integrity is often questioned, we believe in creating trust and transparency between the shop and the consumer.”

Technology is changing the way that consumers and businesses interact, leaving independent repair shops with the challenge of finding ways to incorporate digital components into their shop operations. Through 100 percent two-way real-time shop management integration, BOLT ON says it is attempting to transform an industry that remains primarily offline.

“With BOLT ON’s all-inclusive design, shops are able to educate and inform vehicle owners throughout the repair process, improving productivity and efficiency, as well as customer trust,” said Ken Gilliam, vice president of operations at BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY.

Service advisers and technicians use the software collaboratively to collect customer and vehicle information; track repair orders; confirm issues and recommendations with customers through photos, texts and emails; build vehicle reports; and schedule future appointments entirely online.
