To help get consumers in and out of the bays faster, the Bendix team is including all value-added components (where required or applicable) like hardware, sensors and clips right in the box. This move now makes the brand the industry leader in providing content enhancements.

This sweeping effort across all of the premium Bendix brake pad lines was carried out to help technicians get the job done right the first time, build consumer satisfaction and reduce comebacks.

“Technicians can rest assured that when they use premium Bendix brake pads, they will be provided with everything they need in the box. No need to place any special orders,” said Jim Kelley, director of sales, Americas for Friction Materials LLC. “Over the last year, we’ve made extensive changes to our product line-up to make installation easier than ever. Our goal is to support the professional technician in any way we can. We know how pressed they are for time so this effort was made to improve bay efficiencies and ensure they have all the components needed to do the best brake job possible.”

The value-added enhancements that are featured in both the brand’s ceramic and semi-metallic brake pad lines include:

1. Shims – A variety of premium noise insulators are used across the Bendix product lines to help eliminate noise-related comebacks. Every disc pad SKU includes a noise insulator and all of the insulators have been attached at the factory.

2. Hardware – From abutment kits to spreader springs, all necessary hardware needed to help restore OE performance, eliminate comebacks and reduce installation time is included in the box.

3. Wire Wear Sensors – Wear sensors allow the vehicle’s wear indicator system to operate as originally designed. Restoring the wear indicator function is necessary for a top-notch premium brake job.

4. Product Protection – Each brake pad set is individually wrapped to guarantee shipment quality.

Bendix has been a trusted name in brakes since 1924. The team has a proven track record of delivering premium innovations that meet or exceed OE and aftermarket vehicle requirements. All products are subjected to a comprehensive Honeywell testing protocol using industry standard procedures, which includes both laboratory brake dynamometers and real-world road tests on a wide range of vehicles and conditions.

Distributors interested in learning more about the enhanced Bendix product offering should contact their Friction Materials sales representative or email [email protected] and technicians should contact their local Bendix Brakes distributor.
