Behr Hella Service, a North American joint venture for thermal management between Behr (vehicle air conditioning and engine cooling) and Hella (lighting technology and electronics), is now able to provide the U.S. aftermarket with a single source of supply for a comprehensive range of air conditioning and engine cooling parts for European cars and heavy-duty trucks, as well as select parts for Japanese and Korean passenger cars.
Behr Hella Service products are made to OE specs for vehicle specific fit, form and function. The line includes intercoolers, engine/transmission oil coolers, compressors, retrofit kits, A/C fittings and hoses, pressure switches, PAO-Oil 68, receiver dryers, expansion valves, condensers, condenser/radiator fans, HVAC blowers, O-Rings, PTC-heaters, evaporators, Visco-fans, heater cores, radiators, expansion tanks and Visco-clutches. The Korean range includes compressor, radiator, condenser and expansion valve applications for KIA models and Hyundai Santa Fe, Sonata and Tucson.
According to Alfredo de la Vega, Hella marketing manager, “Our Behr Hella Service line includes the most comprehensive range of replacement and service products available in the aftermarket. A key feature of our program is our A/C compressor line. Unlike most manufacturers, who also sell remanufactured compressors, Behr Hella Service provides only ‘new’ A/C compressors. They are competitively priced and come without the additional costs and return hassles associated with a core program.”
Behr Hella Service supports its air conditioning and engine cooling parts program with a full line catalog for European cars and heavy-duty trucks, as well as supplemental brochures covering its Japanese and Korean offerings and updates to the Behr Hella Service A/C compressor line. The catalog and brochures include descriptions, photos, specifications, application data, and cross-reference. All customer and sales-related issues in the NAFTA region will be handled through Hella, Inc. (USA and Canada) and Hellamex (Mexico).
