Automotive Distribution Network Ushers In New Era At Spring Membership Meeting

The Automotive Distribution Network (The Network) hosted 48 roundtable discussions during its recent spring membership meeting in Irving, Texas, the first under the leadership of Network new President David Prater and Chairman David Segal, who were both elected last fall.

Automotive Network - Logo“As a member-driven group, the Network continues to pride itself on embracing change,” said Prater. “This spring we offered more roundtables than ever after our members communicated to us last year that personal interactions were the highlight of these meetings. The response to this spring format was overwhelmingly positive, as the members were able to exchange ideas and discuss important industry issues, while helping chart the future direction of the group.”

The majority of the Network‘s shareholders from the U.S., Canada and Mexico were on hand for the spring proceedings. The group discussed its latest marketing and IT solutions, and agreed to extend its contract with GMB Water Pumps as a preferred manufacturer partner. The Network also committed to renewing its participation with the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA).
