The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announces the launch of its latest electronic endeavor, the “ASA Marketplace.” Housing convenient, money-saving offers for repair businesses, the ASA Marketplace provides one-stop shopping for ASA’s entire benefits portfolio for members. In addition, the marketplace hosts many new offers previously unavailable through ASA, such as special discounts on FedEx, Sprint and OfficeMax. These newly expanded offers allow ASA members to take advantage of pre-negotiated services with selected vendors for increased savings.

“Beyond ASA’s traditional benefits portfolio, the association now brings members more than 25 new cost-saving offers through the ASA Marketplace specifically designed to help small businesses reduce costs and increase profitability. When combined with ASA’s traditional benefits programs, the ASA Marketplace provides unmatched value to today’s repair professional,” said John Scully, executive vice president.

Members have immediate access to the ASA Marketplace through the links provided on the Member Benefits pages on both the public and Members Only sections of the ASA website, www.ASAshop.org. ASA members may access the site using their e-mail address and the password “asa.” The ASA Marketplace contains numerous categories for easy navigation, including insurance, wireless services, shipping, estimating and diagnostics, office supplies and finance. The site also includes access to Employee Perks, which offers discounts at more than 25,000 merchants in categories ranging from restaurants to theaters to apparel to electronics. This particular benefit can conveniently be shared with shop employees at the discretion of the shop owner or manager.

“Each vendor is carefully selected and rigorously negotiated,” said Ron Pyle, ASA’s president and chief staff executive. “The ASA Marketplace offers the latest in content delivery technology, ease of use and is always up to date. Our expanded benefits portfolio is available to all ASA members and is designed to enhance their success and better serve the motoring public.”

A guest account can be accessed for prospective ASA members. This allows visitors to www.ASAshop.org to login to the ASA Marketplace as a non-member and view the numerous discount programs available through ASA membership. Username and password information for prospective members is available on the home page of the ASA website.
