The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced a new member benefit agreement with AutoNetTV that features an automotive television network that may be viewed in the waiting areas of service and repair centers nationwide. AutoNetTV programming entertains and educates customers while they’re on-site, with an emphasis on vehicle maintenance, safety and the importance of having worked performed on schedule.

In addition to consumer-targeted programming, the AutoNetTV benefit includes the Pro Channel television network, which is created for automotive industry professionals. Pro Channel programs can be viewed before and after hours by employees, and address such topics as sales and marketing strategies, the latest industry products and services, and training, tips and best practices for technicians, managers and owners.

"I cannot say enough good things about AutoNetTV. After seeing it for the first time, I knew I had to have it. I could not wait, so I asked them to expedite delivery," said Aaron Clements, AAM, ASA chairman and owner of C&C Automotive in Augusta, GA. "It is fresh, enjoyable and informative. It’s like having a fill-in service adviser in the waiting area. ASA has hit a home run with this one."

AutoNetTV is a pioneer in the field of television programming for on-site customers of automotive service and repair facilities. These programs allow service centers to conveniently educate customers on their factory-scheduled and preventive maintenance needs, and to improve their waiting experience. Pro Channel programs provide business and marketing insights, technical training, and other industry-specific messages devoted to professionals working in the automotive service and repair industry.

"ASA is an incredibly well-managed organization that provides terrific benefits to members and the aftermarket at large," said Lance Boldt, co-founder of AutoNetTV. "Their organization structure enables them to completely understand and help meet the needs of operators in pursuit of profitability and credibility. We’re thrilled that ASA has found these and other great benefits in their extensive review of the AutoNetTV programming. Our independent reporting will continue to enhance consumer awareness of the need to properly take care of vehicles. Combining the AutoNetTV voice with that of ASA’s will further reinforce the credibility of the aftermarket."
