Donations were made during the annual Federated Toys for Tots auction held as part of the group’s national meeting and awards dinner.

“The generosity of Federated members and supplier partners is unsurpassed. We want to thank all of them for their incredible kind-heartedness, making our annual Toys for Tots auction another huge success,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Everyone associated with Federated, whether members, Car Care customers or vendors, has shown strong support of the Toys for Tots campaign and for that we are very thankful.”

Among the items auctioned to benefit Toys for Tots were a personal appearance from Federated spokesperson Kenny Schrader; “Get Dirty with Kenny” dirt track race weekends; and a number of exciting Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup activities, including driving the pace car, waving the green flag and serving as the starter of the last “Race before the Chase.” Other big hits at the auction were hunting and fishing trips, and the chance to dine with head auctioneer Bishop during the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association annual meeting.

“The holiday season is off to a great start and we haven’t even hit the dog days of summer yet,” said Bishop. “Many of our members and their customers have already begun Toys for Tots collections in their own areas, so we look forward to making another record-breaking donation to Toys for Tots in December.”
