Alemite Offers New Used Fluid Drain

The Model 8592's portable, upright design features a 26-gallon reservoir molded from high-strength, chemical-resistant polyethylene for lighter weight, reduced corrosion and lower risk of damage to surrounding vehicles.

Alemite has introduced its new Model 8592 Used Fluid Drain for collecting fluids from beneath lift-mounted vehicles. Developed for use with diaphragm pumps and other used fluid collection and transfers systems, the unit is ideal for multi-bay shops and applications or environments where movement is restricted.

The Model 8592’s portable, upright design features a 26-gallon (98 liter) reservoir molded from high-strength, chemical-resistant polyethylene for lighter weight, reduced corrosion and lower risk of damage to surrounding vehicles. Its 18” (457 mm) offset funnel includes a removable metal filter screen and secondary debris screen, and the funnel height can be adjusted from 53” to 79” (135 to 200 cm).

The reservoir is supported by two 4” (102 mm) ball-bearing swivel casters and two 10” (254 mm) fixed-axle wheels selected for their size, durability and resistance to shop chemicals. Also, the reservoir provides large, recessed pockets for convenient tool and used filter storage.

If desired, a strategically located diaphragm pump can be used to transfer fluids from the collection equipment to a remote storage location. The Model 8592 features a 3/4” (19 mm) male camlock connector extending directly from the top of the reservoir for easy connection to a fluid transfer system.
