AGS Company has introduced an aftermarket brake line kit that eliminates measuring, cutting, bending and flaring for millions of popular vehicles on the road today, says the company.
The EZ-Fit is a fast and quality solution to replacing steel lines on GM, Chevy and Cadillac trucks and SUVs built between 1999 and 2007.
“The EZ-Fit brake lines are basically plug and play,” says Mark Paseka, owner of Mark’s Transmission & Auto in Muskegon, MI. “A job that once took eight hours now takes less than four. It used to cost $1,200 to $1,300 to install brake lines. I can now do it for $500.”
The application-specific kits incorporate AGS’s corrosion-proof NiCopp tubing using EZ-Bend technology. They enable technicians to reduce installation time by up to 65 percent. The kits arrive with all lines required to complete the job – already cut and flared – and highly rust-resistant black oxide fittings.
“Take them out of the box, stretch them out and screw them in where they need to go,” Paseka continues. “My customer is happy. I’m happy. My employee is happy. It’s just a better way of doing it.”
As a continuous development program for vehicles and light trucks, AGS currently offers kits for 66 makes and models with up to 90 more becoming available in 2018.
