ACDelco has released 63 new Professional window regulator and motor part numbers for GM and non-GM models. The expansion covers 1991-2012 model year vehicles from GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, BMW, Nissan and other manufacturers.

The expansion includes 27 new Professional window motors (including 10 smart motors), 20 Professional power window regulator and motor assemblies, and 16 Professional power window regulators.

The expansion gives ACDelco more than 1,700 total window lift product SKUs covering more than 75 percent of all vehicles in operation.

ACDelco Professional power window motors are all-new and built to meet original manufacturer’s performance standards, with exact fit vs. universal OE-style connectors. All are covered by a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty and must pass five quality tests to ensure proper functionality:

•Cycle: Equivalent to five up/down cycles a day for 14 years

•Temperature: Continuous operation for 24 hours in heat (160 degrees F) and cold (-20 degrees F)

•Impact: 18-inch drop onto a metal pate

•Water: Must operate when one gallon of water per minute is dispense onto a connector for five minutes; then operated when placed in a  -20-degree F chamber

•Noise: Must not exceed 65dB; average ACDelco motor operates at 58dB, the sound of a running refrigerator.

ACDelco has added 10 part numbers for smart power window motors, used to control Auto Up/Down and anti-pinch features. With a smart motor, a built-in electronic module eliminates the need for a separate module within the door frame. Eighteen total smart motor SKUs cover models by Cadillac, Hyundai, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and others.

ACDelco window regulators and assemblies are available in both manual and power configurations and also feature exact fit versus universal connectors. They also use premium grease for longer life, as opposed to the general automotive grease many competitors use.

Eligible members of the ACDelco Professional Service Center program who install ACDelco Professional window lift products may offer additional consumer assurance such as labor and roadside assistance.
