Production of the Ingersoll Rand 2135Ti family of Titanium Impactools began in January 2003. Incorporating titanium technology, the Impactools are the lightest and hardest hitting in their class.

"Producing a half-million 2135-series titanium impact tools is a great achievement," said David Mammolenti, operations manager of the Athens plant. "The Athens team is very proud to manufacture the industry’s leading tool.

"The assembly line that the impact tools are built on continues to lead the plant with Lean transformation efforts, and produces at world-class performance levels for delivery, quality and inventory turns."
