Do you have pride in your ride? If so, you might want to enter Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ “King of the Road” contest, which will award $10,000 in cash prizes to automotive enthusiasts who have the best ride. The contest, which is now open for entries at FMcarshow.com, enables participants to compete for one $500 cash prize in each of 10 weekly rounds. Weekly winners will then advance to the grand prize round for the $5,000 grand-prize and title of King of the Road. Contest participants are encouraged to share their entries on social media to earn votes, and automotive enthusiasts can vote daily for their favorite ride.

“Winning the title of Federal-Mogul Motorparts King of the Road is an exciting and rewarding honor that recognizes each winner’s passion for what they drive, whether it’s a fully restored classic car, powerful hot rod or even a particularly appealing daily driver,” said Dana Bubonovich, manager, social media and digital promotions, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “Above all, this popular contest celebrates our shared passion for the sense of freedom that comes when we climb behind the wheel.”

KOTR-logoThe same passion has helped drive the success of Federal-Mogul Motorparts, according to Bubonovich. The company is a leading global supplier of original equipment and replacement components for passenger vehicles and other transportation applications. Its aftermarket portfolio comprises such respected brands as ANCO wipers; Champion spark plugs, filters and wipers; Fel-Pro gaskets; MOOG steering and suspension; National bearings and seals; Sealed Power and Speed-Pro engine parts; and Wagner brake products and lighting.

To enter the online contest, participants can submit their entries via the King of the Road website at FMcarshow.com with one or more digital photos and a story regarding their personal vehicles. Visitors to the website will be able to vote for their favorite entries throughout each of the 10 weekly rounds and the two-week grand-prize round. Voting for the first round of the contest begins June 27. Voting for the $5,000 grand prize will begin Sept. 12, with the 2016 King of the Road winner announced Sept. 30.*
