Tenneco Broadens Walker Emissions Control Offering With 80 New Parts

The latest line expansion, which includes coverage of a wide variety of late-model domestic and import passenger vehicles, offers automotive service businesses more than 27.2 million possible service opportunities.

Tenneco has strengthened its offering of Walker Emissions Control aftermarket catalytic converters, mufflers and related products with the addition of 80 new part numbers. The latest line expansion, which includes coverage of a wide variety of late-model domestic and import passenger vehicles, offers automotive service businesses more than 27.2 million possible service opportunities.

“Automotive service providers across North America rely on high-quality Walker replacement parts to ensure their customers’ vehicles meet increasingly strict emissions regulations,” said John Perrin, executive director, product management, North America Aftermarket, Tenneco. “We are committed to supporting our service partners by offering best-in-class coverage for today’s most popular late-model vehicles.”

The latest additions to the Walker range include 16 Walker Ultra EPA emissions-certified direct-fit replacement converters covering 105 applications, along with 34 Walker CalCat CARB-certified converters covering 103 applications. The new converters extend Walker’s aftermarket coverage to more than 13.7 million additional vehicles operating in the U.S. and Canada, including Dodge, Chrysler, Ford, Hummer, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota models.

Tenneco also expanded its range of Walker Quiet-Flow SS mufflers and muffler assemblies, adding 13 part numbers that cover more than 5 million domestic and import vehicles on the road today. In addition, 17 new resonator, pipe and hardware part numbers have been added to the Walker range, providing an additional 8.5 million potential service opportunities.
