PartsTech Says New Interface Changes Give Time Back To The Garage

The company says the changes, including its interface and the addition of a "Speed Cart," streamline the way users interact with the free PartsTech auto parts catalog and ordering system.

PartsTech, makers of a new generation of auto parts search engine and ordering technology for the modern garage, has made significant changes to its software, including its interface and the addition of a “Speed Cart.” The company says these changes streamline the way users interact with the free PartsTech auto parts catalog and ordering system.

PartsTech - New Software UpdateThe company says that new and existing users can accelerate their business through the benefit of time savings, increased order accuracy and efficiency boosts from using PartsTech. According to PartsTech, the changes benefit everyone, creating a better connection between the shop and preferred parts distributors and returning a significant block of productive hours in just an average week.

With the new interface, PartsTech partnered with shops around the country to test its solution. Feedback from those shops has made the web-based PartsTech system faster. Users will spend less time clicking around, and searches can be modified or started from anywhere on the site. The company says starting a PartsTech search is as easy as typing a keyword to find your vehicle or parts.

The Speed Cart is another new feature. Add items to an order, and a new column appears on the right side of the window, giving a quick glance at the active order at all times and allowing the customer to complete an order with fewer clicks.

Old features are still present: In a single search, users can quickly understand exactly who has the right part in-stock, and when it will arrive at your location. Users can quickly identify a vehicle with the license plate and VIN search – a simple, automatic way to speed up vehicle identification and increase order accuracy, and browse a huge parts catalog with more than 3 million individual parts from 700 brands, including the most up-to-date product information, videos and 360 degree images.
